Depends what you are looking for!
Stayed here for work for a week. Now depends what type of accommodation you are looking for, if you are after a cheap no frills place to stay with a kitchen and somewhere to sleep then this place is good. It's not fancy by any means, and is a little outdated and a few things could do with replacing or fixing, but if your not fussy then it's fine. It's located a bit out of town so don't expect to stroll into town, but it's about 2 streets away from the beach and there is a pub/TAB/restaurant across the road. All the rooms have foxtel and a plasma TV and just had new fridges and ovens installed (depending on what room you have) the beds seem a bit old but I could deal with that. Also they don't make up your room either until you check out which was kinda annoying. But all in all it's a cheap place to rest your head and the staff are friendly, I will be back again for work but not for holiday.

Good over nighter value for money
As a fly by night stop, this place is value for money, yes it is tired and can do with a makeover. However it has it's own charm, the staff are very friendly, the price is cheap for the area and it doesn't claim to be anything more than budget no frills accommodation. We stayed in one of the family units with a mezzanine level. We had 4 adults and 1 child. It basically fit the bill and for under $200 did the job.

Room Tip: Try getting something that is a little away from the highway as the noise carries at times.

Not Bad
Cheap no frills....free Wi-Fi in available areas (close to reception).

The newer rooms are well appointed for a longer stay. Very friendly and accommodating receptionist, reasonably priced. No bath tho! 🙁 no rooms have them......
Clean and over all very welcoming.

Kids loved the upper level!!
We were traveling thru and stopped at a couple of places for prices, this was CHEAP budget accomodation and perfect for resting before we travelled the next day. Hubby loved the big tv and foxtel and kids loved upstairs!! Has all the basics if your not wanting to spend a lot this is great. Also had another flat screen tv upstairs . $140 per night for 2 adults 3 kids (1 queen, 3 singles) also had free washing machine and dryer but u need to buy the washing powder at front desk before office closes! $1 sachet. Thanks ARL we were happy with our short stay 🙂

Very good value

We stayed four nights in a standard one bedroom unit. At $100 a night it had to be the best value in Geraldton. The unit was in the two storey brick building at the rear, so was very quiet overnight.

Although the decor was a little dated, it was very spacious and had everything we required to be self sufficient. It had a full kitchen including oven and a large fridge. If there was anything we needed that wasn't in the kitchen a quick trip to the office produced it.

Free wifi is available but sometimes spasmodic. We had a booster aerial with us which solved the problem. There is also a free laundry available. With a pool and easy access to the city centre we couldn't go wrong with our choice here.

Great for stop overs heading north or south
We stayed at the Abrolhos Reef Lodge for one night as we were heading to Coral Bay and wanted to break the trip up, and Geraldton is a great stop off point. The hotel is well situated on the Brand Hwy on the way in to Geraldton. We had a two bedroom unit situated in the middle of the grounds, the unit was clean and and comfortable with everything we needed. There was ample parking available for our boat and car. This hotel is great value we paid $135 a night for 3 adults. The hotel also has a pool which after a long drive was very welcoming. There is a bar and bistro directly across the road and the meals there are nice and also at a good price. All in all I would stay there again, I would also recommend my friends and family to stay at the Abrolhos Reef Lodge as it is good value for money.
Room Tip: Little tip if you are towing a boat use the back street entrance as the front entrance on the Brand

Friendly service
We stopped over for a couple of nights here with our young child. very welcoming staff and clean and tidy place. Value for money and the pool was great! We had to leave early due to family reasons and the manager was so understanding and lovely enough to give us a full refund! Will definetly return!
